WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL show.
Wonder Bread reminded me of being in a car in Beijing and the driver said to us, EVERYONE WEAR BLUE, ALL BLUE, AND NOW LOOK AT ALL THE COLORS. Danusia Trevino made the differences in governments and cultures, and relationships with parents completely real. Quite a Physical Tour de Force WOW.I HOPE MORE PEOPLE GET TO SEE IT!

I sincerely hope everyone can get to Danusia’s show, because it is just incredible. I thought it was one of the most moving (and brilliantly acted and directed) pieces of work I had seen in a long time. It made me remember why people love this country, and made me very grateful. Just a miraculous work. HUGE congratulations to Danusia, and Aleksey.

Sat there with a big grin on my face and tears in my eyes. A double whammy! And a wonder of talent up there. Plus great imagination. And lots of heart.
Stephanie Braxton-a television writer/playwright/actor
So thrilled to see Danusia fill the stage so fully by herself! All the visual prop and set choices were very amazing too!

This piece is work is luminous…. I hope there is some way for Wonder Bread to have a longer run… Danusia’s collaboration with Aleksey is enchanting, exhilarating and deeply moving…

Wonder Bread is like a dream, vivid and painterly, full of texture and color. I could almost taste the oranges and feel the fluffiness of the wonder bread. I could picture the dilapidated car her father drives when her parents pick her up at the airport. Danusia transforms herself into members of her family as if she were a magician. The play is infused with magic, and at the same time it’s honest and down to earth in every sense.
This kind of story is uncommon; we’ve all heard stories of people coming to New York City and arriving at Ellis Island. Danusia arrives in Valley Stream and makes you believe Valley Stream is the most beautiful friendliest place on earth. Wonder Bread is unique because it transcends entertainment; it’s an experience.
